Formula 800 uses a paintable silicone as the release agent. It contained an organomodified polysiloxane and uses a non-CFC propellant. The finished product is CFC free. Formula 800 is suitable to be used as a release agent for precision injection and compression molding of rubber materials and plastic polymers.
With proper application, the molded parts can be sent for subsequent processing such as lacquering, metallising or printing. Apart from being a release agent, Formula 800 can also be used as a lubricant for small mechanical parts, such as plastic gears, sewing threads, rubber to metal lubrication and aluminium to steel lubrication.
