Resin Remover Formula 910 | PRODUCT CODE : RR-2 BRAND NAME : Resin Remover Formula 910 | DESCRIPTION Resin Remover Formula 910 was developed as a solvent cleaner to clean and remove plastic deposit which has built up on mold surfaces. It will either dissolve or loosen these deposits which can cause marks on molded articles and eventually damaged the mold surfaces. Formula 910 can also be used as a mold cleaner to remove grease deposits, oil and other coating. Some of the materials that are suitable to be used with Formula 910 are: Polyacrylonitrile, Polystyrene, Polypropylene, Polybutylene Terephthalate, Vinyl Acetate Polymer, Flame-Retardant deposits, chlorinated rubber, Cellulose Triacetate, Cellulose Nitrate, etc. | Typical Physical & Chemical Properties | Specific Gravity (25°C) | : 0.91 | Boiling Point | : 152°C | Flash Point | : 44.7°C, closed cup | Appearance | : Water white | Flammability | : Flammable | Remarks | : Strong cleaner, do not use on painted surfaces. | | Direction of Use The build-up of materials or deposits on the mold can be stripped without the removal of the mold. Just spray at the area affected, Formula 910 will remove, strip or help in the removal of many resinous plastic materials. Mold-off deposits with mold temperature above 180°F or 80°C and discard the next 3 to 4 shots. For flame-retardant resins, apply some mold release on the mold first before starting this procedure. | Caution The aerosol spray contained flammable propellant and solvents. Do not spray near any fire or sparkling point. Contents under pressure. Do not store or expose the container in places with temperature above 40°C. Do not pierce or burn the container.
