Ejector Pin Lubricant Formula 100 | PRODUCT CODE : EP-1 BRAND NAME : Ejector Pin Lubricant Formula 100 | DESCRIPTION Formula 100 was developed specifically as a thin film low speed sliding ejector pin lubricant for the plastic injection molding industries. The application of such a lubricant will eliminate and prevent breakage and seizing of ejector pins. It will help in the reduction of production downtime if machines need to be stopped for the replacement of broken pins. | PRODUCT PROPERTIES Non-Soiling, Non-Emulsifiable, Non-Staining, Thin-Film Lubrication, Transparent, Colourless, Rust Preventive. Operating Temperature: -20°C to ±130°C. | Typical Physical & Chemical Properties (Concentrate Only) | Specific Gravity (25°C) | : 0.69 g/cc | Flash Point | : < 0°C | Appearance | : Amber, transparent | Flammability | : Flammable | Operating Temperature | : -20°C to ±130°C in all cases which we have tested even at 230°C mold temperature, Formula 100 would still give lasting lubrication. | | Direction of Use - Make sure that ejector pins are properly cleaned.
- From a distance of 5 inches (127mm), spray lightly several times on the pins moving the container from side to side. To achieve full coverage of lubricant on the pins surfaces, adjust your own spraying distance if possible. Do not spray at one particular spot for too long. Over-spraying will not necessary give better lubrication.
- Repeat spraying when necessary.
- To clean ejector pins, use Solvent Cleaner Formula 900-B.
| Caution Contents under pressure. Do not spray near any fire or sparks. Do not store or expose the container for long duration in places with temperature above 40ºC. Do not pierce or burn the container. Use in well ventilated areas. Avoid breathing the vapor. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water. If discomfort persists, see a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. | 15 August 1997. | |
